I used RSS about 8 or 9 months ago but gave up. I was getting about 50 hits on my RSS page per day whereas on Twitter I was getting hundreds. You can only do so much, so I figured it just wasn't worth the time and went to Twitter. Here is my question: did I give up too easily? Is RSS dead or alive? I don't read much about RSS any more, so I was wondering what others' experience was of late, i.e. was it a technology that had largely vanished? |

I use to use them solely for backlinking but post Panda, they ain't worth squat so I don't use them anymore. Even when I did use them I never got traffic directly from RSS feeds. James Scholes |

Well I had readers of my blog following my RSS feed. That is, of course, very nice for many reasons. But it was just such a low percentage that it didn't seem worth it. Anyone else? |
