I have a couple of questions about AMR id appreciate help with. 1. If you use AMR to build backlinks to a new site which is less than 1 month old, what is the most article directories you recommend submitting to per article? Despite what some say, it seems pretty evident that too many backlinks can negatively effect a new site so im wondering. I know that many of the article directories don't approve submissions for whatever reason so this needs to be taken into consideration also. 2. I submitted 3 articles using AMR about 2 months ago to about 440 directories, but none of the backlinks have been indexed to my inner pages and almost none have been indexed to the main page either. This is frustrating. I've pinged the links from the live links reports. From the first live links report there was only 17 article links, the 2nd report had about 38 article links. I haven't yet made a live links report for the 3rd article yet. Would you say that the reason no links have been indexed for the inner pages is because the amount of live links in the report is far too little? To get decent results, what number of live links per article should I be getting in the reports? |

Submit to all directories for every article and then generate a live links report 10-15 days later to allow for the non-auto approved sites to catch up. Then, use ScrapeBox to verify each url is actually linking back to one of yours (Or use there free link checker if you don't own ScrapeBox) and then take those url's that are linking back to you and run them through some kind of indexing set up. Any of the popular scripts should work.

Around three weeks ago, I had several new sites I built that were all ranking at position 23-25 for their main keyword. So I decided to do a bit of experimenting with different combinations of AMR and social bookmarking. The sites that I was drip-feeding 25 articles a day moved up 5-6 positions in the SERP results. The site that I blasted 500 AMR submissions at once immediately dropped below position 50 (the limit that I'm checking for) and has not recovered since. I don't have a big enough sample size to say that my tests prove anything conclusive, but I know that I'm not planning to try an AMR blast on new sites again. |

I've played with these methods for sometime.. and also posted my strategy in some of the topics here on this forum. First - do not build AMR links directly to your main website. Second - Create well spun articles and post on web 2.0 properties. Create about 10-20 such web properties. Third - Submit your site to 25-30 social bookmarking websites manually (outsource to fiverr) Fourth - Blast using AMR and build links to your web 2.0 properties and social bookmarks, spin the URL/links and anchors in each article so you dont create a ton of links for any single property - repeat this for a period of 30 days.. do 1-2 article blasts per day per page of your site and you'll see the difference within 1-2 weeks. I've reached several page 1 rankings using this method. Also if you can afford - buy BMR or Linkamotion and use them once your site reaches on on page 2 or 3. Hope this helps. |

When you say "run them through some kind of indexing set up", do you mean create an RSS feed out of the links, then submit the feed to RSS directories? Quote:
As its a new site, it may just have been the Google dance. The backlinks don't get indexed straight away, so why would AMR have an immediate effect on your site dropping in the SERPs? Quote:

I can't tell you how or why the one site dropped after the blast and hasn't recovered since. Two of the other sites did have significant drops after a couple of weeks, but recovered after three days. As I said, with the limited number of sites I had for testing, the results aren't conclusive.

| Stop trying to boost your post count. ------------------------------ Have any other AMR users got anything else to add? I've had contrasting advice so far in the thread. Pat Jackson says to submit to every site, but ericnelsonator says don't build links directly to the main website. I used bulkping about 5 days ago to create an RSS feed out of the live links, then I submitted the feed to RSS directories, but no backlinks have been indexed. Is 5 days too short to expect to see any results? |

I started with AMR 6 months ago. Did OK at first, but after panda 2.2 it started pushing my sites down in the rankings. I tried drip feeding, same result. I tried filtering it so I was just posting quality, well spun content to wordpress based blogs, and I added a mix of content, images and rich media, and still no luck. I tried going with just the higher PR directories, and still I had rankings drops from AMR. Now don't get me wrong, on low competition keywords I did continue to get good first page results. But I consequently had rankings go down on other short tail keywords, which is not cool. IMO, why waste time with an automaton that produces unstable results, when there are plenty of ways to get consistent, reliable results. |

I always use AMR on new sites, but only after my first initial backlink campaign of social bookmarking, blog commenting, and profile links. Then I schedule AMR for a month or two to slowly drip feed my article marketing. It's been going pretty well so far, with many of my keywords ranking in the first two pages of Google. But you should note, that it wasn't just because of AMR although it did help. |

The problem with AMR, Scrapebox or Senuke blasting is that you never really take the time to verify the sites that will be linking to your money site. If you look closely at some of the sites , you will find porn , gambling and other illegal web sites. Usually I personally link to my money site with material I control. A original article from 10 major sites like eZinearticle , Blogger,Squidoo ... , that link to my domain and internal pages. And then I slowly blast (500 -1000 links a week) those major sites. Just my way of skinning a cat. |

I usually get send out at least 10 articles even on a new site. Drip them at 10 per day and you will be fine.
