Default Question About Backlinking Amazon Review Sites

I have a few Amazon review sites (Electronics, exact match domain, 30 days old or less, min. 1,300 exact global monthly searches).

I started with 250 high PR backlinks, then added the domain to my 3WayLinks account, then I added 10 PR8 backlinks.

Not seeing much movement when I check my Google ranking. The highest site ranking is 92 and the lowest is 22.

My question is: would you do an article link pyramid or social bookmarking backlinks?

Jessica

I would build the article link pyramid and outsource the social bookmarking links on Odesk.

And good luck getting electronics to rank. You're braver than I am.

it's because you're trying to game the system. all these "high PR backlinks" you're buying... just stop it. go out there and form them naturally by guest blogging or something. look at this as a long term investment, not an overnight fix.

Nothing to see here

Matt's absolutely right. You really can't buy ranking, not directly anyway. You can purchase social bookmarking gigs on Fiverr, and while they might not help a lot, they won't hurt.

You need to give it time as well. 30 day old sites don't get much trust and are only recently indexed in Google. You need to allow a 90+ day period at least.

Ensure your on-page factors are good FIRST then go and build your natural links with articles, videos and comments etc.

Chris is right. Time plus some backlinks that build up naturally will get you ranking.

Going for bigger and better things!

Good advice... I'd also add to this that whatever you do, be prepared to do it regularly. Link bursts like what you mention can be detrimental unless they are consistent over time.

In other words, don't blast the heck out of a new site all at once. Establish a manageable and consistent strategy for backlinks that you can keep up with over the long term.

Funny but I bought some do follow social bookmarks for various sites and they seem to give a very nice boost suprisingly.

It's case to case basis, there are some people who bought high PR backlinks and got good results. However, there are some who saw it useless.

In your case, your site is only 30 days old, so I think building links manually is a good option. You don't have to rush everything because it will take a long process for your efforts to take place.

You need to index your profile backlinks. With 250 backlinks, you will have real 10 backlinks if google did not index them. And I agree with Chris, it needs time for gain the higher rank on SE. It should be 1 month to 3 months.
About your niche, I think it will be OK, you will be have a lot of competitors, but if you overcome them, you will gain a lot of experience.
I think your building link is not enough, and you may have long-term SEO strategy, it should be 2 weeks or more depend on competition. Fill in with article marketing, press release, social bookmark, link wheel... You can find some good service on Fiverr to do it for you. Good lucks.
