I made a twitter account for my company so people can follow me. Should I just start following everyone in hopes that people will follow me back and give me exposure or even just help my website rank better?!?

Twitter requires you to be very active. You have to engage those that follow you and provide some value. It's a very conversational media. You get followers generally when people like what you have to say or what you're tweeting. | |

Twitter is a great social network for you to stay in touch with your audience. If i where you i would create a custom twitter page for my business and set up a plugin on your website to tweet all your posts or I would at the least tweet something every few days to a week just to stay fresh and create a following. I would defiantly follow some other pages in the same niche as you. Once you establish that then you have added another traffic source for your website. I would also link to twitter from your website and linke twitter to your website.
