Hi All, I originally joined the forum here to perhaps get some pointers on get some better rankings on our site but since joining I am more confused now than before. We get a phone call a week from companies saying they can boost our google ranking, most of them though can barely speak a word of English so I don't give them the time of day but it really is time for us to try and source more google search traffic.. So who to use and who not to? I have got some quotes from both people within the forum and I have also googled SEO and picked a few from the top, figured a good company needs to practice what they preach hey. The quotes I have received vary dramatically some from couple of hundred per month and others as much as a $1000 per month One of my biggest problems is we only ship within Australia so I figure we don't need to make sure we are at the top of the list for any of the global keywords which is why I was aiming to get an SEO company from within Aus but am I barking up the wrong tree? hopefully there is a few people on here that have been in a similar situation and can give me some recommendations on who I should be using and what I should be paying.. Cheers |

Much of that depends on exactly what you need done each month. For any business, I recommend that you just set aside a part of your advertising budget (eg. 25% for SEO, 75% for other marketing efforts). Your budget should reflect your cash flow, so if you have a mid-large business you would often be spending $3,000 - $10,000 per month. For a small business you would usually be looking at $200 - $500 per month. For an individual (internet marketer) your budget would tend to be around $50 - $100 per month. I am based in Australia and provide SEO services to clients here, in the UK, New Zealand and the USA. If you want to catch up to discuss what you are looking for you can PM me here at the Warrior Forum, or email me at jamie@businessstart-uponline.com - Jamie | |

Michael, thanks for your interest also, if you are reading this can you please pm me your email address? While I am at it I just wanted to say that this rule of 50 posts before you can PM is a joke, I am sure it just frustrates the crap out of genuine users such as myself and as for it stopping spammers sending PMs then I am pretty sure all it means that they would put 50 posts of rubbish on the forum so they can get the privilege My 2 cents!! |
