Default How Can I Recover My Site From Google Panda?

My site was affected by Google Panda update July 29-30. At that time, my traffic and rankings dropped off by 80-90%.

This is my site here:

(Sales Page) How To Cure Shingles In 3 Days Or Less - Fast Shingles Cure
(Blog) How To Cure Shingles - The #1 Resource For Shingles Treatments & Shingles Remedies

I've taken some steps to improve my site, including:

- Re-writing content, making sure there's no duplicate content (I am aware that some sites are copying my content, but my site is the originator of all the content on it).

- Registering domain age for 2+ years.

- Getting rid of all affiliate links.

- Gone through all my backlinks. All seem to be OK. Many are EzineArticles and other article directories, social book marks, etc...

- Made sure all my internal links are OK.

- Wrote more unique, original content. Also have more backlinks to my site now than before.

And I've done many other things.

It's been a month since and it hasn't recovered or improved in any way.

I've sent a request for reconsideration to Google, and waiting back to hear from them. I've also waited a period of time to see if it'll automatically correct itself, which it hasn't yet.

Any suggestions or thoughts from experienced SEO people?

What in the world are you doing putting 90% of the page inside of an <h2> tag?

http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:www.howtocureshingles.com/&hl=en&strip=1

That just screams SPAM!

Trust me, that <h2> tag isn't seo.

Yes, change that, you also don't have that many backlinks. You will need to index the backlinks. An indexed backlink is what counts. Give me a call if you need help with that.

Thanks for the feedback.

For the H2 tags - thanks I had no idea about that. I am having my programmer fix that right away and clean it up.

In terms of Backlinks - I have MORE backlinks right now than I did before, but am getting less traffic. Do you think it's possible that many of my backlinks got de-indexed which affected my rankings and traffic so much? Is that possible?

I have EzineArticles, Link Wheels, and other sources of backlinks... how can I get them indexed and to improve this?

You can get a rough idea what's going on with your sites/pages backlinks with Yahoo Explorer, or download the free version of SeoSpyglass.

I do not understand how google Panda affected your site. Is it Google new algorithm for providing PR in Google?

1. Anchor text! Check your site backlinks anchor text from open site explorer, you may get some idea.

2. Page Rank. Your site page rank only 1 and your top competitor page rank relatively high.

3. Medical or Cure related keywords. Just believe me, Google prior trusted or aged domain for medical or cure type keywords.

4. Domain Age: your domain age only 8 month, still it is not enough age to be trusted.
