Default Mobile SEO

Are search results on mobile and PC the same? (I get different results sometimes).

How exactly do we do SEO for mobile, beside having an optimized mobile-compatible site? Any inputs will be appreciated.

I think that the results for mobile are sometimes different too. I would think it will become more important in the near future to have a mobile optimised site.

For a mobile site you might want to rethink the functionality and weight of your site and have it fit in with the way that people use phones for the internet and how that differs for phones and desktops.

If you optimise your site for mobile very well, I think that the engines will give you higher rank in mobile search. It just makes sense as that would be the best most relavent result.

I think they base more results based on your location, and when you're on your phone, you tend to be moving a lot more than on your computer. But Google also may track your interests through your Google account.

Well, mobile searching really has a different result to show you especially when you are moving locations. Google can track the location and the possible reference of your searches on either PC or mobile, which somewhat affects your search as well.
