Is it worth to post a comment on a 3 PR DF Blog, where more than 400 comments have been posted?

The page rank of that particular url is 3 and it is a do follow site. Is it worth?

Probably not going to help much. Plus, I'm guessing a lot of the comments are spammy since there's 400 of them. Do you really want to drop your link on a page that is already spammed to death?

If you post well thought out comments on blogs that are relevant to your niche, you don't have to worry about dofollow and pagerank.

I built traffic to a site almost entirely on blog comments (until the site started getting ranked in Google). Not spam comments Scrapebox-style, but real feedback. I never paid attention to pagerank or dofollow.

Instead, I targeted sites that were CommentLuv enabled so I could showcase my blog post titles. And I did leave comments on a daily basis.

I can't speak for everyone, but this is what works for me.

A link is a link, better to have it than not, however try to focus on more quality stuff going forward.

If only a few of those 400 have a link, it could be worthwhile. If most or all of them have a link, it is an utter waste of time.

Your backlink will still get a 'vote', however you're sharing the link juice with potentially 400 other sites. So, is it worth while? Yes.

There is to many on page links already. This will take away link juice . So not worth it.

It doesn't take all that much time to post a well thought out comment and a link is a link. I'd say go for it.
