Default What's a reliable way to "predict" CPC? (If one there be)

Hey all,

I crunched a bunch of numbers using my adsense stats and compared the ACTUAL CPC I earn with 70% (Adsense publisher's cut of a click) of the approximate CPC in the Google Keyword Tool.

I found absolutely no statistically significant correlation between the two. My tentative conclusion is that there's no reliable way to predict the CPC you'll get from a given keyword phrase based on approximate CPC in the GAKT.

Have you found a reproducible, semi-reliable way to determine your actual CPC BEFORE actually putting ads up on your site?
