I've built a site about product X, and mentioned the word "volt" maybe twice on the page, and now all my ads are about Chevy Volt and other cars. I'm trying section targeting...but I've never had this problem and now would like to talk to someone who has maybe dealt with this before. This is really ruining the sites income potential, and I'm not about to re-write the whole article...though I could. Anyone have any suggestions? It sure would be great if we "non-premium" publishers were allowed to use google_hints on our ads...would make a world of difference for every party involved. (F**k you spammers for ruining it for everyone) Anyways, this is really starting to bother me, as this particular niche has TONS of relevant ads, so that's not my problem. Let me know if anyone has a solution that actually works. I'm going back to the page to modify some text. |

Give it a few days first. Sometimes it takes a sec for the ads to appear. Also try opening your page with another browser with a clear cache. I often see irrelevant adsense ads on my own site that are relevant to something I was browsing minutes ago! Try moving the ads around on the page and make sure all of your on-page SEO is solid for your keyword. If all that doesn't work... Find another related keyword with lots of advertisers and make IT the focus of your main page while ranking for your primary keyword. Just make sure it's relevant to the topic or Google might bizzle slap you ;-) Vic |

You could also log into the new adsense interface and block urls of irrelevant ads. I have abt 30 urls blocked on my site and found that the relevant ads appear much more often.

All I can say is, keep it that way. It is because in your country, there might be no advertiser for such keyword. But when it comes to other countries, there will be. As you know, every country will see different ads from a website so what is appearing to you will likely not going to appear in other country. Unless the advertisement is targeting international. Hope that helps. |

Rewrite the page & remove the word volt, or use a synonym. Or, If it's just one Ad that keeps repeating, get the url of the Ad (don't left click) & block the url in your Adsense Admin. Also, make sure to have the keyword for the page in the:

| Just tried that by opening a new browser and it worked a treat, checked my next adsense site in the same browser and the ads were still relevant to the previous site. Never knew that it worked like that.
