|  Interesting free Duplicate Content checking tool
I have an SEO client whose site remains stubbornly outside of the first page of Google. I wondered if there was some form of Panda penalty on the site because it has a heavy wordpress theme with a ton of replicated (machine generated) code on every page. I saw this dupe content checking tool referenced from a very interesting article from SEOMOZ about the Panda update. Just wondering if anyone has used the dupe content tool and if you've got any meaningful data from it? |

I haven't used it but SEOMoz don't normally reccomend rubbish. I am planning to give it a try though. Could be a useful addition to the SEO tool box.

Copyscape and Duplichecker are the best tools for checking duplicate contents and these are free tools.

page is not formatted correctly in chrome..copyscape is far more superior than this tool

lots of those dup pages got penalized..I had a client like that having 133,000 pages with lots of dups..ranking dropped 35%...
