Keyword+region, do u use it?

Hi, I'm newbie in adnsense buziness, so I'd like to create a site with a lot of pages like "keyword+city", but I'm not sure is it possible to get good position in Google in regional SERPs. Do you have such an experience? What is the strategy?

Local keywords are comparingly low competitive, so it's easier for us to promote them. But low competiion often means low traffic, so you need to find more related longtail keywords if you plan to run local website.

Thank you, I have 3 questions more:
should i add local adress to page? i see that in top-10 majority of snippets contain local adress.
Should i write article as usual, or may be there are some special tricks?
Should i create separate site for every keyword+town, or i can make a big site with articles like "car insurance in ohio", "car insurance in utah"?

if you have local address and want to add them just add them in your contact page.

about articles, if you are asking from regional point of view then do a keyword research region-wise and write articles targeting only those keywords in a region that have enough searches in that region.

Rather than creating separate sites for every keyword+town, it would be better to have a big site with landing pages for each n every city. Like for the home page you can target the main keywords "car insurance", "auto insurance" and create inner pages for each city like car-insurance-ohio, car-insurance-utah

So i wanted to do, but in regional SERPs 50-70% sites are real companies with adresses in mentioned town, so do you think i have a chance to be ranked 1 place with pages that don't contain local adress?

It's what they call "Geo-Targeting" .. Using your keywords plus the region place you are targeting, you can target the local search you are actually aiming. By this, you will be able to aim for your target audience online. You can apply this to all your link building campaign to promote your website. One of the best ways to promote your website through geo-targeting it classified ads and article marketing.

I've ever read about common tricks to optimize our article, has good value of SEO (e.g: H1/H2/H3 tag, Bold, Underline, Image alt), etc
But if you use Wordpress as your engine, you can use any plugins to help you deal with good article writing, same function like Clickbump, etc.
But if you use different CMS engine, you also can adapt the way of points as the trick.

For newbie, it is better to start with low competitive keyword because it is easy to rank high. After you have succeed in that area then change to target high competitive keyword.
