Steps for Putting out an Ebook

so i am about to release my very 1st ebook. i have never done it before so i'd love the board's input on this one!

i am planning on putting out a 40 page ebook on "Wine Pairing" as well as a upsell consisting most likely of 5-8 reports on various wine-related topics that are 2-5 pages in length.

here are the steps i believe must be followed. i have already done the market research and I have someone writing the ebook as we speak.

1. create ebook
2. create reports (upsell offer)
3. Produce Sales letter
4. Upload sales letter to site
5. set up paypal business account
6. Buy solo ads/PPC traffic to see conversions
7. test and test and tweak until convsersions are good
8. find affiliates

what else am i missing? thanks in advance!

Start collecting emails on your site before launch and start doing SEO for your site to get you free traffic. I just released my first ebook also, but won't see many sales until I get ranked well in my keywords and start collecting email and followers
