|  is there a difference between buying a link and buying an online hyperlink ad
in some businesses - it is tough to find relevant websites to place backlinks for free - so many buy advertising space on these high PR related niche websites with a hyperlink/s back to their site. is a hyperlink associated with a paid ad not considered buying a link?

I mean it varies on the niche on how hard you have to look for relevant back-links. Normally you can find a few competitors who are at the top of Google who have a majority of relevant back-links you can use as well. Some niches though it is sometimes hard to find good back-links, you will always be able to find them it just means you might have to take some time finding them. Lastly, having an ad on a website is not buying a back-link really because it is an ad and not just a anchor text back-link to a site.
