Question about Adsense

I am building a site that has articles and reviews about local restaurants, night clubs, salons, shops, hotels, etc. There is nothing wrong at this point.
But, there is also a page that is called "Love".
It is going to have dating and pick up tips as well as the list of local strip clubs with links to their web sites.

First question. Would it be considered "adult content"
Would it be risky to place Google ads on this page?
It doesn't have any erotic pictures or sex language. The only "questionable" part is strip clubs descriptions, a few pictures and links.

I was planning to place AdSense blocks on all pages including this one, but I was afraid that Google might consider this "adult page" of mine inaccessible. So I decided to place AdSense blocks everywhere except this specific page.

But now I think that it is kind of risky to put AdSense on a site since the site contains a page like I describe.
So I assume that even if I put AdSense blocks on all other pages except this "adult" page, it may still be considered a violation of AdSense terms.

Am I wrong?

If you have to ask if stripper links and photos are adult...

There is no hope for you. You have the mindset of someone who
does not read the rules, does not care about the rules, or
just plain refuses to understand the rules.

Nobody, and I mean nobody should have to ask if strip clubs,
links, and photos are against adsense TOS. Nobody.

Get rid of all such stripper stuff. But then, one wonders what else
you have on your site. Remember, it's not just strip stuff. It
seems like there may be a hookah bar, perhaps an Indian casino,
a bar that has a wet t-shirt contest, and who knows what else
you have included in your niche.

Google wants content appropriate for all ages. Do some get away
with more? Are there ways to get around it? Yes. But since most
of use are not google partners, nor large authoritative news and blog
sites, well, we should not try and tweak the rules.

People see the LA times do a review on a Vegas casino, and think they
can do stuff on gambling. The casino review for an average site may
be iffy. But the strips club stuff, definitely not.

You've got to get into a different mindset. I'll give you credit
for at least thinking, so maybe the original judgment was harsh.

I appreciate your criticism and I completely understand your point.
It is indeed quite harsh given that I have read Adsense TOS prior to placing ads + I haven't placed them just yet. This a grey zone as there is no absolutely clear definition of adult content. But anyways I will not place Adsense blocks on this particular URL

So my main issue remains unresolved and I will repeat my question.

Given that my site contains one single URL with semi adult content (where I obviously do NOT place Adsense blocks... is it OK to place Adsense blocks on the rest of pages (where all content is normal)?

When it comes to Adsense, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

If it doesn't feel right, then don't do it. Put some other type of monetization on that page.

Maybe call up those local companies and offer a private ad placement for X amount/month.

If that's the only page with the adult oriented links you'll be fine with Adsense on the rest of the site.

Yeah good point well made on this thread. If you have to ask DON'T do it! Thats the best policy.

Personally, I would think someone looking for a restaurant wouldn't be slightly interested is strip clubs etc. You cant always be all things to all people, I wouldn't have any adult content on a restaurant review site, but that's just me.

Agree with everyone else here. It would be better to just avoid it rather than take the chance and risk it all.

If I had a local site that was about all things local, I would try to reach out and grab advertising from people locally on there. While there is more work involved, the money that you could make on a site like that could be good.

I actually have a site that I've started on geared towards my city that highlights different "things to do", and I plan to reach out to locals here for advertising once I get it going (still have a long way to go since it's in the development stage at this time).
