i want to use this time to ask you to tell me the most effective free traffic tactic that works most of the time for you, the reason is because i'm running internet business on part time basis, so find it hard to apply all the free traffic tactic available, i want to focus on the one that works frequently. There is no such thing as free. If you go for Google adwords you will pay money and if you decide to go for organic traffic then you will spend lots of time creating backlinks for your website.

I've just started out but my two most effective ways thus far:

1. First page of SERPs. I'm ranking 9th for a keyword that has 12,000 exacts/month, this brings in about 100 page views/day.

2. A link from a high-traffic, context-relevant site.

Starting with research to find relevant low competition keywords before commiting on a product/service to promote. If it's too late for that I would still try to find keywords that I can compete with, write articles, submit said articles everywhere possible, become an authority on relevant blogs and forums....and use all the suggestions above. It's a ton of work!
