Default Adsence Scam?

I am looking to buy a website so I can create an income for my family. I came across a ad an I wasn't sure if this is a scam or not? I thought I would ask your thoughts on this since most of you have experience making money online and I don't.
He said it will cost me $875 per domain, and then they charge $99 a month for traffic.
Please let me know your thoughts?
What kinds of questions should I ask to make sure this is legit?

Here is a clip from the page:

"We begin by plugging in your Adsense account ID into our Domain System. These parked domains are receiving passive advertisement traffic as shown in picture below. Only targeted visitors will visit your Domain(s) and generate revenue. You get paid by Google Adsense program per impression and per click each month based on this traffic directly to your bank account.
The parked domain company (Google Adsense) see’s the organic traffic coming from several respected traffic sources daily for a consistent flow of visitors. The visitors are natural with browsing time and provide natural converting clicks on the page. The advertisers on your page collect real, genuine leads, sign-ups and sales. Revenues generated are consistent and a guaranteed minimum of $300/mth.
Parked Domains make more money then other avenues simply because the entire page is a single, large advertisement as you can see below. Any visitor activity on the page will result in a $.50 - $1.00 click because there is no other option than to click through to an advertiser’s website that’s relevant to their search. Our click-through rates are 7-17% in comparison to other website businesses which run at 1-5% ctr. This simple fact makes parked domains 10 times more profitable then websites and blogs, despite high quality content and search engine marketing."

Stay far away from this.

Just aside from the misleading or outright false info in that ad, providing this company actually does what they say they are doing, you will almost certainly never make a profit.

What they are talking about is putting your Adsense ID on ads for their 'parked pages'. 'Parked pages' are domains that have been registered, but for which there is no website. The domain owner or the registrar simply list ads related to the domain name in the hopes that someone will either try pulling up that website (the domain name) or type it in a search, or get there by accident.

As a rule, the ads there will be some of the lowest-paying ads for their respective keywords, in part because there is no website or content. Also, the CTR or Click-Through-Rate will be very low. As soon as someone lands on a parked page, they realize there is no real info or content there, and almost always hit their 'back' button.

Also, the price they are charging ( $875 per domain, and then they charge $99 a month for traffic) is absurd.

Lastly, if they are generating "a guaranteed minimum of $300/mth." do you think they would hand that over for 3 months worth of revenue?

The way the entire ad is worded, it is clearly targeted at those with little or no experience or understanding of Adsense or traffic. It's written to sound reasonable and legit, but only if you didn't know any better.

This is a scam; stay away.

Michael

That is extremely expensive and absolutely no one can guarantee you that you will make a certain amount per month.

Take your time and read these forums and build your own site...I will guarantee you will have success going this route but you will have to work hard to be successful.

Yeah the prices they charge speak right away that this is not legit whatsoever. They're just trying to screw you over. Don't bother with these guys.

Look here, Price for a domain with $300 a month will be $300*12months=$3600 This is a MIN. Price, but it can be Much MORE. So, whats the reason to Sell this domain? they can keep it and buil 10-20 even 100 same Autopilot sites and make their money... This is a 100% ABSURD walk away from them !
Open Google Adwords, and find a Low Competitive Keyword, register a domain, same as your keyword, write a 800-1000 words article, and you good to GO, oh, forgot about SEO, make sure you have on-site SEO performed and add some quality backlinks...

Good Luck

Thanks

Greg

Come on people. I'm surprised by some of you.
You missed the biggest of all. It may not be a scam,
BUT....

First and foremost, it breaks the TOS of adsense.

You can't just slap adsense on a parked domain. You
must submit it to google, then google places ads
on your parked domain.

You are not involved in placing ads on your parked domains
using google adsense if you want to be within the rules.

The whole read does not make sense.

Quote:
The parked domain company (Google Adsense)...
well, yes, that is true. In the domain for adsense program, google
runs it!

So again, how in the hell are they going to put your ads on it?!?!?!?!
You must submit the parked domains via your own account.

And here's the last part:

Quote:
These parked domains are receiving passive advertisement traffic
How 'bout that TOS?
"Publishers may not use online advertising to drive traffic to pages participating in AdSense for domains. "

I guess "passive" advertising means they break the rules without breaking them.

Here's a better tip. Buy some expired domains for pennies on the dollar.
Submit them to google for adsense. Then see how much money rolls in.

Because of the lack of any talk here about adsense and parked domains,
what does that tell you about how much money they really make?

The whole thing is a scam because it's not legit, from top to bottom.
The whole thing is a walking violation of adsense TOS.

Paul

Lol, i'll say most likely a scam. Even it's not, you'll be also risking your adsense account. Better stay away and never try =D
