Building Mini/Satellite Website Strategy, any good?

Hey, I found out this method when analyze one of SEO expert website.

What he did, is build one way backlinks to his main website by creating couples of the satellite website that pointing links to his main website, thus automatically get some One Way Links from satellite's homepage and links from the contents. This websites are optimized too, SEO onpage (include some unique and relevant contents) and some offpage that necessary.

for example, one of the optimized page in the main website are about "vegetable supplier" (www.mainwebsite.com/vegetable-supplier),
so he created satellite like www.vegetablesupplier-whatever.com that has links pointing to www.mainwebsite.com/vegetable-supplier.

So, is this method is proven cost-effective compare to buy links? because we can CONTROL the mini/satellites website rather than buy links that we can't control the website.

or we can combine both methods? (build satellite and buy links).. any help would be apreciated, thx

Sure it works, that's all the guys selling backlink WSO packages are doing.

The only differance is, If you sell your main site, you simply add the backlink sites as a package, which will boost your earnings.

You'll still need to give the small backlink sites a boost with a few high PR external backlinks.

Just buy some cheap .info domains for the backlinks.

this is one good method...most of them used web2.0 to point to their money sites and build massive backlinks to the web2.0...
