Youtube traffic and backlinks

Probably been asked before, but as I have a gardening website I am wanting to use youtube to build some traffic and backlinks. Question is does it help in terms of free traffic and backlinks? Hope that makes sense

I'm currently marketing with youtube and I must say that yes it does help with free traffic and backlinks. Authority sites like youtube, ezine, facebook, and the warrior forum all have really high page ranks so the link juice helps with your site's ranking as well. When I make my videos, I noticed that they rank higher in youtube when I target a low-medium competition keyword and sprinkle it in within my description like an article, hope that helps some..

I can tell you that my brother is getting an average of 6,000 views average per day from 30+ Youtube videos. Not bad for free traffic IMO.

That's 6k views every single day (average), each video is about 2min. long.

Youtube has massive traffic, you just have to get your videos in front of the viewers.

+1 to this. There is a misconception that nofollow links don't count when in fact there is extensive studies to show that they do in fact help with rankings.

yaa i used youtube for backlink and really it gives u a better PR as well as a increased traffic rate...it works really

yes you can...you gotta try it out and test the results to see if it works well for you...this method has been around but still people makes mistakes..

when i started my website, i use youtube to get my traffic by putting my url in the description box. but this doesn't count as backlink, though i get my back link from my youtube profile.

The most important value of youtube is easy and targeted traffic. i just started uploading videos( about 100-300 daily) and i am getting very decent traffic to my site (between 300-500 uniques daily)... If i had known how easy it is to get traffic from youtube, i would have focused on youtube marketing long time ago. But it's all good cos it is never too late to be sucessful
