Run one ad with a direct affiliate link on Adwords and your Adwords account will be banned.

My apologies. I just scanned their do's and don'ts and did not see anything regarding direct linking. That would lead me to believe they do allow it. Not sure the affiliate site cares, although some vendors do care on other affiliate networks. Many of my Commision Junction vendors specifically disallow direct linking from ads, although I'm not sure they track it.

Edit: This is on CB's site:
"As you can see, there are two formats of your HopLink. The top format is the direct URL, which you can use when you just want to paste a link directly with no HTML formatting. For example, this link format is often used in paid advertising or sharing a link over email, Twitter, or instant messenger with a friend."

your answer would be "yes, you can".

Yes, clickbank does not care if you direct link to your affiliate link from paid ads, they are the most relaxed affiliate network as far as that goes...

I see sometimes people running adwords campaigns and are framing or cloaking to their affiliate link direct and getting away with it, but eventually they get busted and lose their Adwords accounts.

There is a way you can keep opening adwords accounts, but I will not go in to that in this thread as it is not appropriate in this topic and not really encouraged, although it works.

clickbank should be fine with that...but with PPC driving traffic directly to the sales page, you are losing more customer...for me, i would build a pre sell page or a review site that allows me to capture their email too...this way at least the money is well spent...
