SEO Work in a Foreign Language??

Anybody on these boards have experience with doing SEO in a language they don't speak/write?

A potential client wants us to do SEO for them across all language versions of their site. English/Spanish/French/German

Is this achievable and what would be your recommendations in going about this?

That's very doable. You can choose to hire a copywriter and a link builder who're knowledgeable of that certain language, probably a native. Manage your processes through skype, and be sure that the members that you'll choose to hire can also speak the English language, so you can easily relay/communicate your strategies to them.

Yes i have doing so. I'm in german and i made projects in english. At start it was very difficult for me because my english is not best. But i have used some software translaters and ghostwriter for good text and so i get success in multilingual SEO

Multi-languages SEO normally need more work.
The best way is use the article directory in different languages, which is a good place for you to build up backlink. besides, get some backlink from the quality website which hosted on the country you are targeted
