Default How Many Of You Use Amazon Contextual Ads In Your Websites?

For most of my my clients' sites, I have been promoting Amazon products by adding an image with a text link that says something like "Click Here For "Product Name" and hyperlink it to an Amazon product.

There is another way of displaying Amazon ads in the blog posts very much like Knotera contextual links.

I was wondering how many of you are using this feature?

If you don't understand what I am talking about, please see the video below.

While I never had much luck with this widget, in-line relevant text links have generated more sales than anything else I've tried...

Personally I don't use any widgets at all on my Amazon sites, I have found and most agree that normal hyperlinked in line text links work best and have the best CTR

I use the Amazon Contextual Ads widget, and it does generate some sales, and often in unexpected niche products.

Is this something you set up manually, or is there a widget for it?

Is this something you set up manually, or is there a widget for it?
Mostly, it's set up manually when I make the blog post or load up the article. If the market is broad enough, I'll try one of the WP plugins that does 'semi-contextual' linking by turning selected keywords into clickable links.

Yes I normally just use standard hyperlinks and have found success with this.

First thank you everyone for your contributions.

John, what plugin do you to turn selected keywords into Amazon links? In the video, he showed a HTML code. Should I manually paste this code for every blog post?

Thanks
Dan

Dan, I used to use Pretty Links, but they now only offer the functionality in the Pro version. One I'm looking at now is WordPress › WP Auto Affiliate Links « WordPress Plugins

About 90% of the time, though, I just do the copy/paste manual link in a given article/post and don't worry about it.

I saw that about.com video the OP posted today and I tried to find that specific contextual links widget in my account and I could not find it. Could someone help me find where that specific contextual link widget is?

For those of you that didn't take the time to look at the video, it is Kontera style inline text links widget from Amazon.
