How to change anchor text in footer link?

I'm using Atahualpa, and I'm having trouble finding the code for the home link in the footer.php file. Any ideas?

I'm assuming you mean the bit that says something like "copyright (c) 2011 mydomain.com......"

Go to the Atahualpa theme options and choose "style and edit footer" from the menu. About half way down the page you will see "footer content"

It's all in there.

Can you tell us what CMS are you using?, so we can tell you what is the right advice and instruction.

lol for the home link all it says is %home%. I get that this is supposed to be easy mode, but I don't want the link to come up as mywebsite.net. I wanna be able to change it to whatever I want. I know it's possible, but I can't find it.

I'm using wordpress

Ok - delete %home% and type in the link you want. You need to use the full code, for example <a href ="http://thesiteimlinkingto.com">www.thesiteimlinkingto.com </a>

How to change/get rid of Atahualpa footer.

This is something you can print out and read along while your doing it.

Atahualpa footer can be a bit more complex for the 'untechy' like people or when your used to some of the simpler codes on some themes
