Is it a good idea to buy high pr domains for the purpose of putting links to your sites on it? Has anyone tried this? How did it go? What site would you recommend for buying domains with PR?

Too costly and time consuming, IMO. Plus, a lot of domains will lose PR after being bought. (Or the PR isn't real. You'll need to use a tool to verify that it is. I use the one built into Scrapebox.)

| They would only lose their PR if they lose the backlinks, right? if the site has thousands of backlinks, all of them can't get removed all of a sudden, can they?

Is it true that a site loses its PR when it transfers ownership?
