So i visited bulkping.com and have been using their rss feed generator to get links indexed. I was wondering if there was an ideal number of links to put in a single rss feed? Is there a such thing as too many links? Their page says they recommend 500 per but you can do as many as 10,000. I'm new to this, can someone help? Is 500 per feed too much? can you do more?

Hi Mooble, This would probably be up for debate, but in my testing, 20-30 links per feed has given me super fast results. Google will crawl the first 20 or so links, but take longer to crawl remaining links. And you never know how long it will be when they re-crawl those links. I've worked with this belief for a while and it hasn't let me down. I even had a custom bot created which takes all my links, then converts them into feeds with 20 links per feed. |
