Improvement in Ranking

guys i have posted a thread earlier in which i have mentioned that i am not getting improvement in my rankings.

some of warriors suggested me to do blog commenting and article submission but i am regularly doing forum posting for my site for keyword which you can see in my signature and got improvement from 23 rank to 18 rank in Google.com

shall i continue with this or do link building by submitting articles and blog commenting.

Do forum post in niche related forum post which helps you in a right way...

Keep posting in the forums that are related to your Niche, blog commenting is also a good idea.

The problem with that is that many niche don't have forums you can post in.

The best way is to have a variety of backlinks from different locations. Articles, forums, blog commenting, social networking, social bookmarking, guest blog posts.

Sure, it can be argued that some are more powerful than others, but a natural looking link landscape certainly won't hurt.

Obviously! Just be on top 10 forums and post 2 comments almost daily on each, be informative. Along with that do blog postings with the keyword you want to rank on top and hope it's the one I could see in the signature. You can't deny the fact that this keyword is very competitive, getting on top with this is not easy so make quality posts and comments on blogs and forums. Along with that do some article submissions, web 2.0, blog submission and also submit some press release. Make sure that every requirement is fulfilled and is proper for and during the submission. I assure you that very soon your rankings will go higher.

Dont worry about your serps day to day. I know that its harder than it sounds. Especially for somebody like me if you dont have many websites and is fairly new to this.
Your rankings will go up, but its really stressful if you expect it to go up the next day or the next week.
One thing i realized is that seo and rankings move in weeks and months, not hours and days.

Your website favicon is missing. make account in yahoo answers, wiki answer and so on. It enhance your website authority. It's good posting articles and social bookmarking. Just do one thing regular update your website informations in twitter. You will get good result.

With +1, it is still not proven to be one of the most effective way in improving your ranking. However, for personalized searching it helps. But in general, it's still unclear if it is really effective.

To junne: you said you're doing it right? Have you seen some big improvement in your ranking? If not, then it's still not proven. I'd like to suggest you to diversify your link building. Getting links from different sources will give you a chance to get good quality backlinks.

And oh, before I forgot, It will still depend on the level of competition of the keywords that you are using. Also consider proper on-page optimization.

Hi Junne, I just do what works for me now. Use the private blog network and get links from different sources at the same time. If your site is new don't build too many links.

Exact match search for keyword targeted? Strength of competition? General niche/industry? Number of pages of content?

FIND PR 10 and post on blogs, forums, articles
IF NOT FIND GO TO Pr 9 and post on blogs, forums, articles
IF NOT FIND GO TO Pr 8 and post on blogs, forums, articles

IF NOT FIND GO TO Pr 1 and post on blogs, forums, articles
