Hi Warriors, This is a heads up about a change in the AdWords ad review process. http://adwords.blogspot.com/2011/09/...aused-ads.html Beginning this week, AdWords is going through all of your paused ads and reviewing them for compliance with current policies. This could be a major issue if you have a lot of old paused ads. If those previously approved ads are not in compliance with current policies you could end up with a significant number of disapproved ad notifications. If you get too many, you get your account suspended. ![]() If you are like me, you will have thousands of old paused ads that you need to quickly inspect for compliance with the latest AdWords policies. You may need to delete the lot of them until you have time to review each and every one for current policy compliance. There are some benefits to this new process. Google says that this new procedure will allow them to speed the approval process for all new ads. With this new procedure the ad approval process will no longer be bogged down by having to review and re-approve ads that are routinely paused and then re-enabled. One clear benefit that I see is that if you are planning to launch a campaign on a certain date, or at a certain time, you can write and upload your new ads in paused status. While you ads are paused they will be reviewed and approved well in advance of your scheduled campaign launch. |
