Default Buzzle and other article directories

I have not done much article marketing as of late, and I was going to submit one to Buzzle today. However, when I logged in, I noticed the ones I had submitted in the past were gone and they have a policy that forbids external links now. It seems they deleted what I had submitted!

Talk about scum! Why anyone thinks it is worth the effort to submit to them now is beyond me.

Anyway, I suppose nothing can be done about that at this point. I am just wondering. What are some of the most effective directories now apart from the Ezine Articles. GoARticles and Article Dashboard?

Yea, I just applied for an author account, but when I got there I found out that there are no external links.. Allowed at all.. Im not a shady link based author, I write high quality, specialized articles.

But it seems to me, if were not even allowed external links in a bio box or author profile, then that is a complete exploitation of unsuspecting authors...

I'm not sure what the other benefits of publishing to buzzle is?

I mean, maybe a few people read my articles, and then they see meas as an expert, great, but is the whole exchange between me creating good content for the site is the potential for people who like my stuff to t come to MY home on the web and et to know me there?

dan thies recommended buzzle in his link lib 2 course, and I was expecting that it would take 4 weeks to get approved, but I was approved the next day,
Do you thibk that means that they are desperate to find new quality writers?

Same thing with me. I stopped submitting with them months ago. I think a lot of people did.

Same here. There is no benefit whatsoever for the writer...

Ye, my account with them disappeared as well. Just ignore them there's no point in submitting.
