I have a quick question regarding the way backlinking works in blogs. I understand some people leave their site's link in the comment, but is it at all useful to only leave the backlink in the "website" portion of the blog comment? Is the website clickable by other users without putting it in the comment, or does it only hold real value when posting it in the comment? I ask because it'd seem much easier to detect spam if blog admins were to run across comments that had something like "Also, might want to check my link out as well as it contains some of the same information here - mylink.net".. Pretty obvious.. Any idea? Thanks for the help! |

If you leave your url in the website portion of the comment form it is clickable. It won't hold much weight if its a nofollow blog though. You get more value from do follow blogs especially if they use keywordluv and commentluv. Leaving a link in the comment will usually get the comment deleted unless it provides something of value. |

one thing i am sure. Never put link in the comment box. Don't use your keyword in the name place if its not auto approve. It will waste your time and also the mods of the blogs. Read the article atleast 1% and then, give a comment which has a little value. Its like a give and take. Only do links and anchors in auto approve blogs. Your url in the website box is enough ...

Keywordluv and commentluv allow bloggers to reward their readers to attach their link in their comments and give it a do follow attribute. It is said it improved readership and more people drop valuable comments in blogs with keywordluv and commentluv.

| Your kidding? How can you leave an appropriate comment if you only read 1% of the article? Most bloggers I know will delete a comment if they feel it has not relevance to the post and if you've only read that small amount your comment is likely to suck.

Excellent, knowledge here about the comments. But I am still confused about the keywordluv and commentluv plugins. Whom it will help? I mean the commenter or the blogger. If it is helpful to commenter, how I can figure out whether the site is using commentluv or keywordluv, I mean is there any trick to know about this. How it is benefits to the blogger? Regards |

You can leave it in body if the rules allow it. But before you make sure of the link building process, make sure that the links provided are Dofollow. Don't want to waste your effort on it if is a Nofollow Blog.

Ok I'm misunderstanding something. I used a tool to check to see if this blog was a do or no follow, and it shows 1 dofollow and 6 no follow. What does that mean? Does this mean the more nofollows, thats likely what the site is?

If you are looking for an increase in the visitors then it might not mean a whole lot if it is Dofollow or Nofollow but if you are looking to increase your page rank then you should not waste your time submitting your links in Nofollow blogs. Only Dofollow blogs will help your health to increase PR.
