Default Google Hacking Warning

Chinese hackers have been going after gmail accounts again and mine was hacked last night...spent the morning dealing with it and believe me it was no fun.

Many people use gmail and have all of their Google accounts connected so just a reminder to change your password often and keep a list of important things in your gmail because Google will ask for the info in the recovery process.

They will want to know e-mail addresses you use often ( up to 5 ) as well as folders you have created within your account.

Unfortunately Google loves to link all your accounts and being lazy we love to let them but now I will be separating everything because all your eggs in one Google basket is not a good thing.

It is always good to be as careful as is realistic in these situations. Separating out your analytics from your gmail from your adwords from your adsense etc is just a great idea these days.
