Default How to jump on Google from #13(P2) to #10(P1)?)

Hello everybody!

My website is very targeted, it has the correct tilte and meta description and the domain name contains exactlly the search keyword...but my current position is on page 2, #13.

I want to jump on first page on google and I need to know where I am wrong(page title maybe?)

My website is facebook-sharer.com and the keyword is "facebook sharer"

Thank you

Create inbound links from other sites. Submit your site to web directories to do that. Search google for SEO inbound links.

I'd suggest that if your domain name is really facebook-sharer.com, where you're ranking in Google should be the least of your concerns.

Facebook is a registered trademark. I saw a thread here just today in which one member stated Facebook's lawyers demanded he not use his domain name (which included the word "facebook"), or else to be prepared for legal action.

Do you want to take that risk? It seems to me that unless you've been granted permission to use it, and regardless of how long you've passed "under the radar" with it up until now, it's just a matter of time before you find yourself in some seriously hot water.

Thank you for your advice. I did not know I cannot use the word facebook in my domain name. What should I do? Un-register it?

Know that I'm not a lawyer so I can't give out legal advice.

But I do know that Facebook are quite aggressive at protecting their trademark.

You can't really unregister your domain, no. What you could do is "de-link" it. Switch your site to another domain and point the Facebook domain to a blank page or something, perhaps, or change the DNS? Anything so that it's not "functional".

You might still hear from them eventually - who knows? - so be prepared for that.

It looks like your product also bears their trademark and your site their logo? Not good. You might want to look at that, too.

To be honest, this is quite serious. It sounds like you're not really aware of the legal consequences of this sort of thing at all, and yet you've invested enough time and effort to have a product and website built and branded using their trademark?

You really need to seek advice from a lawyer.

Thanks a lot! Indeed I invest a lot of time on this. I will do whatever necessary to avoid problems.
