Pr 0 beating pr8?

Can a pr 0 backlink beat a pr 8? I no it sounds silly but just got off of skype to someone from this forum claiming he can teach me.He has 3 seo sites and one ranks 8 for seo service on google.co.uk.He claims its a method called SEO Inverse method. Do you think hes talking any sense or just a scam??

If you are talking about ranking for a keyword, yes, lots of lower PR sites rank higher for their keywords than sites with high PR targeting the same keywords.

pr is only one factor when ranking for a keyword.
Site title, domain name and relevant, quality content is probably what he has...and what the other site doesn't have.

no its not that as if you look at his site,the url is his name.The other sites are way better optimzed then his.

It might just be me, but I don't see his site anywhere near 8th on google.co.uk.
