Hi,
What is the best way to check the rankings of my Keywords for my sites

I have heard of a tool "Traffic Travis" is this for the purpose of finding out which page you are ranking for your KW's? Is the free version suitable for this?

Traffic travis lets you do all this. This is the free version. It gives you feedback for all your keywords and tells you were they are ranking for the main search engines. Be aware it is not always 100% though so check up on it. Traffic travis doesn't only let you check your keywords it lets you do lots more like analyse your own site and your competition, find keywords, ppc analysis, page analysis and seo analysis. All this for FREE.

You can also use the free version of semrush to find the top keywords that you are getting taffic for. It sometimes will be words you didn't even intend. You'll also see if some of these are on page 2 in google in which case through better optimization and off-site work you can hopefully move those keywords higher.

Yeah semrush is awesome service, but if you use free trial it only give you a partial list of keywords. It's a big disadvantage of it.

I like Raven Tools but it's pretty pricey. I've instead followed Mitch Monsen's How to Make a Rank Checker with Google Docs. You'll have to run a search for it since I can't yet link out.

I have used Firefox rank checker tool from seobook. It's an Firefox add-on, so no need to install a software. It's very easy to use.

I use Scroogle Scraper and Google Chrome Incognito mode. What I do is use Scroogle and CTRL+F to find the general location of my keyword since you can sift through 100 search results at a time and then check the specific location using Google Chrome Incognito mode.

i'm using seobook. its good some time. but i feel manual checking is the best way to see accurate result.

You can try SEO PowerSuit's Rank Tracker. =) That's what I'm using but I believe there's always a lot of free one out there =D

Just to note: The only issue with the free version of Traffic Travis is that it can only check if your site is ranked within the top 50 for a particular keyword. But, beyond that, it works pretty much like you would expect it to. Plus, it's free.

Hi....I am using Rank tracker tool for rank's checking.You can use this because its speed is good and gives perfect ranking in a specified domain.

SEO serp is for free, it is one of the tool that I trusted in giving rank result for my site. In my field I found it more reliable with options to made on what rankings.

You can easily check your average SERP rankings using Google webmaster tools. For, precise results, you have to check your rankings manually.
For the Searching - you can make sure you always check the same way...
* Logged out of G Accounts
* Opted out of Personal Search
* Use the same computer
* Use the same browser
* Use the same Search page
* Use the same Search settings

That should help reduce the likelyhood of "bias" interfering.

There are many rank checker tools out there. But I personally use seoserp.com in checking my ranking for my keywords.
