Default Does Build My Rank/Blog Networks Violate Google Webmaster Guidelines?

Hi all,
I have been using Build My Rank and love the results so far. Well, after reading more about Google guidelines I wonder if Build My Rank or any network violates the "link scheme" violation? What do you think? I just don't see how Build My Rank would be different from Ezine articles when it comes to "passing PR"? It just seems like if Google had a problem with BMR they would deindex their sites. Thoughts? I want to be whitehat. I just don't see how one can build anchor text without violating the rules at all....what do you think? Or am I misinterpreting the rules?

Yes only unique content is being used. So this is not the same as what JCPenney did?

I too wanted to know if BMR or other blog network will be de-indexed for having a network of sites just for creating backlinks?

I don't think they will get de-indexed, but at some point, Google may decide that they want to give these types of links less "juice". Then they will just have to figure out a way to identify those networks; it probably won't be that hard for them to do.

So diversify your linking structure. The fact is, the networks are working really good right now, so you have to take advantage of that; just don't make it your only strategy.

If you are linkbuilding in any way, then that is definitely not whitehat already..

the only way to be 101% whitehat is to write good content and have people linking to you naturally, thats what Google ultimately wants. Any other attempts of linkbuilding can actually be considered to be a violation of google's guidelines, technically speaking.

Any link building you do is going to be against their guidlines. They would like you to use the "if you build it they will come" theory of SEO meaning that if you build a great website with top notch content people will be scrambling to link to your site from their own.

The fact of the matter is that for most people, if you want your sites to rank you're going to have to be a little more proactive than just putting good content on your site and hoping for the best.

I was thinking of putting my website in a bottle and throwing it into the ocean. It will be a beautiful bottle with a great website in it. I'm sure it will be found a lot that way.

That's what Google thinks will happen. Puh.

I run the Universal Life Church seminary website. I post my Spiritual Bookmarks at this Universal Life Church site.

Yeah I totally get it, we would never be found if we didn't backlink. I just didn't know if BMR was considered a "link scheme" or "link farm".
