Have You Guys Tried Yelp For Local Marketing?

I recently enrolled my local injury lawyer directory with Yelp. I was very surprised with the results. It shot my listing right to the top for very expensive keywords.

First day I was in Google's first page listing for "best injury lawyer fort lauderdale."

Then I decided to promote the Yelp link with some video and social media promotion.

My Yelp link #1 above Google places listings for my keywords and my videos 2 and 3.

Then for the non local term "best injury lawyer" I was on the first page of Google.

I am impressed with Yelp.

Do you know of other local directories other than of course Google Places, Yahoo and Bing which deliver these type of results?

Once I took help from my brother who is seo guru and he did pretty good job out there..

Hi Ethan, Yelp is an local online directory for local businesses. It is not a typo. Yelp not help. I am sure your brother knows about it. All the best. Matt.
