Ok warriors here's a tough one for you all. I have currently 15 sites online, went on vacation and now all sites have been de-indexed. Needless to say I am baffled. Did search on google with my url in quotes and the only thing that shows up are my backlinks. Many of my pages had #1 rankings and they were there for over a year, one even had that #1 ranking for 20 months. Just had my best site get out of the sandbox late last month so I started building links slowly back into it and 2 weeks later that has tanked also. Been trying to figure this out and the only thing I can come up with is I hired someone here from the forum to write content and submit it. Problem is they had some of the worst spun content you could ever imagine. Now I only did that for 3 sites. But after seeing the lousy content I asked that person to see if anything could be done about the quality answer no so I cancelled. Could this person have contacted Google in some way and put the wammy on me so to speak? Some of these sites I haven't touched this year at all, this just doesn't make any sense. Went back into my stats and all sites lost their traffic on the same day. It was after I cancelled from the vendor. This is the only thing I could come up with. How do I get re-indexed? Really I have no game plan right now. Any advice would be appreciated. |

Really sorry to hear. I know how frustrating and crappy that feels. My neighbor had his sites all hit at once and tried to resubmit several times.. never could get them approved again. I had 10 of mine get killed near the same time .. and for the very popular old template that everyone was using. Rule #1 ... despite what people argue, never use Google Analytics. It makes them far too easy to deindex all at once. I'm assuming you had them all listed there? If your sites are legit, "original content" and not made to look like MFA in any way, you can resubmit your site through WebMaster Tools, but... be forewarned that getting them reindexed after deindexed is not typically achieved and the sites are likely gone for good. They are pretty tough on any kind of resubmissions. And no.. I doubt they could have contacted Google and got you whammied in any way. Everyone would be doing that to their competitors if they could. |

Thanks guitarjosh I do have Google analytics installed and all sites have adsense also. I'm sure Google can find all my sites through adsense also. Yes I do agree with you on the vendor, It would be too easy just to throw something bad at Google and have them follow through on that. We would all throw rocks at other peoples houses then. I put that in there because I had heard that users can report websites. Any other ideas warriors? |

Just doing a little research here and you can report web pages with Google webmaster tools. Anyone ever had experiences with this?

That's all just speculation and I'll let others comment on your problem and hopefully give you some positive suggestions, but just wanted to give you something to think about when you make your comeback.. and you will. My neighbor lost over $5000 a month overnight and I immediately pulled everything I had out of Analytics and moved to StatCounter. He was back to making over $2000 within 3 months of creating like sites. Good luck brother!

Would it be ok for you to post a URL here so I could take a look? No promises I'll be of any help, but sometimes a fresh pair of eyes can be useful.

hey man , its happened to me also couple weeks ago for all of my 10 or so sites that were all on the same hosting account and adsense account....my adsense account is still fine... what was the template you were using for the sites?....was it the same template for all sites? share some more information on things like how you build your backlinks etc... basically i still dont know for 100% why its happened to me, but big chances were that i had the same template for all the sites...and not a real good looking and legit template |

yes, Do the info:http://yoursite.com and see if your site is still indexed in google, if it is not you have an issue on your hands. I had this happen to a private blog network of 45 PR3-4 sites all at once, I moved them to a new server and hence new IP's and all the sites got reindexed eventually and doing fine now... This happens sometimes if your sites are loading REALLY SLOW! Google hates slow loading sites and hence punishes them in the serps. Check your load times on those sites. Maybe you have something running on your server like certain plugins that are over loading the server and killing your load speeds and u are getting punished. Its hard to get your sites deindexed otherways. Maybe the IP you are hosting on is banned now from google for some reason. Move all your sites to a different hosting, you can put them on mine if you want, I will give you your own Cpanel and a dedicated IP and see what happens to your sites in 7-14 days from then if you dont want to spend any money, I can do that 4 u just as a favor. |

It would really be helpful if the discussion starter would post his website so people can check and see what's wrong with it. That way we would not reply based only on assumptions or hunches. There are many factors to consider on why your site got deindexed.

Alright I've been doing some more research trying to find a common denominator. All of these sites were not de-indexed. I have a couple of friends sites and my church site on my hosting account, these were not affected. But what I did find common was the Automatic Backlink Creator plugin was on all these sites. I also had it on my friends site which is just a one page site for his business. There is really no competition in this niche and it might get 60 visitors a month. Could be G didn't worry about this site because it is for a actual service. Just a thought. I was going to get rid of it anyway because it bacame not as effective back in June. Needless to say I deleted them all. Will advise later after I get some more info. |

Guys I would love to give the url but I'm having problems with Google and the competitors I have already. Just trying to protect my niches. More info is all sites are differnet niches. Shared hosting, different everything. That's why I have come to the conclusion of the ABC plugin. It is the only common thing that was present on these sites. |

Do any of the sites re-indexed now? Is it conclusive to say that ABC plugin caused the de-indexing? I'm planning of getting this plugin. |

| I don't think Google Analytics has ever caused such a problem to anyone across the internet world? Because Google Analytics is trustworthy and reputed one to analyze your site fully.

Yes I dont believe that google analytics would have caused deindexing either... Are these sites hosted on a VPS or Dedicated Server, or a shared hosting account? Its quite easy for google to ban your entire IP range if you are on dedicated server or VPS, whereas, if it is a shared hosting account, they cant just ban your IP because there are lots of people that have sites on same IP. Move all those sites to a different host, and delete the ABC plugin just to be sure. Then let us know if your sites get reindexed. I would book mark each one also once you move hosting to get them re crawled sooner. |

(They don't let the public search based on adsense id - they keep this just for G employes - but newer search engines such as Blekko do allow anyone to do a search on an adsense id. It's on your template and a piece of cake for them to find and list).

I bet the real reason you're sites got de-indexed is the same reason all other sites get de-indexed = doorway pages. Your site is nothing more than a middle man between the consumer and the vendor. Google doesn't want these sites in their index, anyone who has affiliate/adsense only sites is fighting an uphill battle. If affiliates had their way all their sites would be on page 1 whilst the real vendor would be on page 2, Google has a major issue with that, they don't want their users having to click through to find what they're looking for.

If the vendor did reporter your websites to Google, you'd better give up on them as soon as possible. From limited experience, those websites which were penalized by big G manually won't get indexed easily, it may take 1 year or even longer time. If Search Engine is the main resource of your websites' traffic, give up on these websites, build some new websites and start over.

Alrighty deleted the Abc plugin don't really know if that's the cause but it has been ineffective for a couple months. I do have sites on shared hosting so that can't be the issue. I do have adsense on all the wiped out sites. I didn't have analytics on all sites. Deleted plugin and analytics gonna change my advertiser or maybe get rid of all ads to start. Will be working on one site alone adding more content. All unique. One thing I do believe in that G has all this info at their disposal and they will use it. As for user experience in Googles webmaster guidlines all users are different, so there is no way possible to figure out what is a good user experience. All these sites were set up differently and in different niches. Another possibility is they are tweaking the algo in which case do nothing. Couple months ago my best site and all pages took a dive in the serps. Came back in 2 months but not as good. Then 1 week later this happened. That only happened to only this one site. My best site is also a white label site but I gotta do some more research on how to use the data feeds, I'm not that technical that could possibly help. When I have more info I'll post it here. One thing for sure I'm not gonna give up. This is just a learning experience. Last thing I will be doing is going after real simple keywords in the future, they might not be as profitable but they are under the radar. Googles watching the competitive keywords I got a feeling. My gut tells me Big G is cracking down real hard |

Can you tell us how you used the ABC plugin? Did you send a whole bunch of links to the same pages at a fast rate? Did you vary the keywords for you links? Did you get links from other sources? Thanks. I'm just looking for ways to avoid problems if it happens to be the ABC plugin that caused it. |

Please keep us posted on what happens! My site didn't get de-indexed, but my site dropped from #1, #6, etc. and had several other pages drop below a 100 from page 1. This site was the beginning of my first success. The only thing I did recently was a link wheel to a tier 1 site linking to mine. The tier 1 site is fine. I don't get it. My other sites are on the same hosting account, so I'll probably change that. Thanks for all the details about what your doing. |

lol..i wouldn't even remotely think to use a plugin called "automatic backlink creator" plugin. In fact, *IF* i use any SEO plugin which might do something which google might not like..i change all footprints, rename plugins and everything. But overall, although i also have a hate/like relationship with Google i think Google does NOT de-index without a good reason. (Mind you, i already did a lot of stuff...but the only time when a site was de-indexed was when i had an old auto-blog spamming twitter and someone reported it...short: Unless you do something REALLY bad you should not be getting de-indexed.) I dont think that submitting spun content would count (might be wrong)..it might be your content, layout, ads or overall what your site is about. There must be a reason. |

People always scared of competition... Provide a site if you really want help. There thousands of niches so don't worry about competition. Even if they do want to come in and compete, by all means let them, you know the niche much more than them. |

I've had this happen quite a few times. When you disappear from search with either site: or quotations, you need to either A: continue building backlinks, but from HIGH ranking sites, or B: stop building links at all until your site reappears, and then take it slowly from there, only backlinking on URLs of a PR1 and higher. they also need to be relevant to your site's niche. When the site finally does reappear, it will rank higher than it did before. |

I have about 20 sites that have ABC plugin on them. One of my site got completely de-indexed on Aug 19. However, this particular site does not have ABC installed. So, in my case ABC plugin is not the reason to get you de-indexed. Have you check your keyword density? Could it be that you are over-optimized although you have unique content on each page/post? |

Because my site got de-indexed and the traffic completely die in one day. I asked one of the reputable Adsense guys and had him review my site. Here's the feedback from him: "The content, while original and generally good, grammatically is very 'light' - meaning it doesn't go into the sort of depth & detail you would want for the type of subject it revolves around. Most damaging is the keyword density. The primary root of your keyword phrase group, "xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx" appears over 100 times on the home page, with many individual paragraphs repeating it 4 and 5 times. My guess would be that the site came under manual review, which would have most likely been triggered by that keyword density. Particularly when combined with the Page titles & links, you have something that looks too much like "keyword stuffing". If I were the reviewer and delved further, I would see many of the backlinks are on blogs filled with keyword comments, many of which have been deleted, and of those still there, most the type of non-specific, general comments associated with comment links. While you can file a 're-inclusion' request, my initial inclination would be you'll get better results by doing a whole new site (new domain). If you want to use your original keyword group, you can probably use the content you already have as a starting point. You'll want to do some research and make the articles go somewhat 'deeper' in terms of the information - think in these terms: would the articles fare well against articles on sites that currently rank for those keyword phrases? and would someone reading them think, well here's information that goes a deeper than the 'obvious', and feels like it was written by someone in the field? In terms of your keyword density, while you'll want your target keyword phrase to appear within the title of each 'Page', and in it's first & last paragraph, you probably don't want them to appear more than once or twice besides those. Also, since many of the phrases are 'variations', you'll want to 'mix-up' other words, synonyms, and some related-but-different primary phrases. So for example, if your root keyword was "physicians assistant" with phrases like "physicians assistant training", "physicians assistant salaries", etc., you'd want to use some instances of "health care worker", "physicians office assistant", "doctors assistant", etc. - in other words, look for ways to have relevant phrases that don't directly use the exact phrase. Lastly, you'll want to intersperse some related phrases that aren't variations. Continuing the example above, additional 'Pages' might include "health care industry", "health care jobs", "medical office training", etc." Hope that helps! |

Well guys did some more research and they are all still gone did have adsense and analytics on all sites. All sites were in different niches keyword % for all was at the highest on one site 2.5% It's all too much of different things to say anyone thing did it. Gonna try one more thing before moving on and that's to try using some new content on subdomains. I'm not going to redirect anything just see if I can get that subdomain to index if not I'm done with them. I'll let them sit and if they come back great if not I'm still movin forward. Just a learning experience. Here's the positive side of my mind though. I did build these into almost a $2000 month income. And that was in 5 months so I did learn a lot. But no more adsense or analytics or anything remotely funny, keep the blinds down so G can't see inside. My friends sites and my church site which I host no adsense or analytics hey still there. Be wary everyone, what's here one day might be gone tomorrow. |

Please keep us updated with your original site. I am very curious to know what happens after 60 days if you do nothing. I have heard this is typically the max penalty, and then you come back with a second chance and retain all of your backlinks. |

I have a site that was indexed just fine and now, nothing is, except for the rss feed. No notification in Google Webmaster tools (I am not sure if there is supposed to) of about deindexing. I am not sure what's going on. It had been indexed for years. After a redesign for wodpress, pages still were indexed! For privacy, please refer to my site in URL short code: bit.ly/A5tiUd |
