I got a list of directories and added it to AMR. So now I have nearly 12,000 directories loaded into it. I have been getting real low success rates and the most directories I have been able to sign up in any of the other lists I have is 470. So I thought at least I should be able to get a decent number from this group. Well maybe, maybe not. I ran the list last night and it was just finishing up when I got up this morning. I don't get up very early. So I refreshed the list in the Status I selected OK, and in the submitted I selected no. Am I doing this right, as I only got 213 directories showing. This doesn't seem right. I forgot to select, remove from server when I set this up and I had a whole list of stuff to remove from my email this morning. I did s search to find login information email totalled more than 1,200. So if 1,200 directories sent me log in information, shouldn't I have successfully signed on to that many directories? Why are they not showing up in the software? Am I doing my search wrong. I went thought the instructions for AMR and this was not really very clear, so that is why I came here to ask. I would appreciate any help you can provide with this as I have not had a whole lot of success with this software. I see all the testimonials and success stories and wonder why I have such dismal success with it. |

I signedup a new AMR account today and got 1256 directories as OK. Even that isn't as many directories as some people are getting. Maybe that is because they added more directories to the database, I didn't add any extra directories which may explain it. A few things. Are you using a paid email address to signup? Are you using a password which is at least 8 characters and contains at least 2 numbers? Have you made sure that your username is unique? i.e. put some digits in it. Have you filled out all the fields in the author account section? I heard that using domains with no dashes increases the signup rate. Have you tested your pop3 settings? You'll find that in Step 1-B: POP3 Setup Have you ensured that you clicked Confirm after the emails were downloaded? As you've actually recieved more than 1,200 emails, it sounds like the problem is to do with AMR accessing your email account so you may need to re-confirm and check your POP3 settings. |

Can you tell me if I have the setting correct to pull up the directories that I have successfully subscribed to?

To show the directories you have successfully joined, I think you need to tick all the boxes on the right of the screen apart from Email and None so there will be 4 boxes ticked, then click Refresh and it should display the directories. Although you only selected Ok and No, that would probably produce the same result as ticking Yes and Fail also because you haven't submitted any articles with this author account yet.

I have 3353 directories in ok status. I did import directories from a list. However, without the list on another account, I have 1,800+ in ok status. You're not doing something right. Your password selection might be too weak. Your username is too common and are unable to register because someone else already has it. Your email address is from a free service like gmail, yahoo, etc.

My email address is admin@mydomain.com, not a free one. But out of all the ones I set up, one that I used a gmail address got the most successful sign ons with 470. I just haven't had any success with this software and I am about ready to just dump it. I hate to do that because of the money it cost me, but it seems useless to me. |

What port have you set it to in the server information? As you've recieved the emails from the article directories, it seems like AMR is having trouble accessing your email account to confirm the emails which maybe means that the POP3 settings need changing. Don't dump it, im sure you will sort it out eventually. You just need to trial and error.

I'm having horrible low success rates too and I'm using my domain email. Many failed categories, only got 1400 out of 8000 accounts to sign up. What the heck are we doing wrong? And the videos are old and outdated. Although I did find some new ones on youtube. What categories are you using to get good results.

Lots of people on their forums have the same complaint along with some bugs. I think its a great piece of software that is going through some changes.
