Ok I'm new to blogging in terms of, I've never built a successfull blog and made loads of money. Ive put blogs up before and now the time has come were I want to provide rich enjoyable content on a blog, but make money at the same time. My ultimate goal is to earn a living from the internet, through blogging, affiliate marketing, reviewing and any other internet based income I find enjoyable. One thing that is confusing me is ranking on the search engines with keywords. Let me start by asking - Say i have a keyword of "big red golf balls". Now this is in the category of golf so i'l be writing about golf on my blog and posting this and that. I want to rank on the search engines though, so I need to use that keyword. Big question is Do I need to write 10 or 100 articles about that keyword to rank high, or do I just need backlink after backlink and with 1 article on that subject in the category of golf to rank high in the search engine. It seems i just need to write an article with good content, use my keywords and have thousands of backlinks to rank high. Am I confused? Please someone help me. |

If you're talking writing an article for a keyword, you don't have to do it. You just have to right an article for your specific topic. Your topic is all about Golf. So, just write an article about golf and make a way to include your main keyword there.

How to Optimize for a Competitive Keyword Without Breaking the Bank - SEO Site Checkup Get google analytics installed and see what your users are doing when they get to your site. Focus on the content they seem to be spending the most time reading. Backlinks, yeah, those matter. But I've got sites on page one that I've never built a single back link to, the content is just really kick ass. Good luck | |
