Can someone explain to me more about the c-class ip?

If I have 30 domain names and 30 websites you would think that I have 30 different ip addresses but it doesn't work that way. Not every website is given a different ip address.

I use shared hosting. Shared hosting gives you the best price break but there are negative points also. If I have 30 websites on a shared hosting account they could all have the same ip address. If I placed links from one of my websites to another one of my websites google would most likely know that they are both my websites and ignore the link or maybe penalize me for the link. If you have 30 websites on shared hosting and you have a link coming into all of those websites from a different website google might see all of those links as one link.

Class C gives you several different ip addresses that you can spread your websites over so Google (hopefully) can't tell that they are owned by the same person.

Hopefully I am describing the problems correctly. Others may be able to shed more light on the subject.

You just need to get SEO hosting if you want several different c-class IPs for your blogs. Alternatively, you can just get links from myriad sites. They usually have different IPs as well.

Dg - you only need to concern yourself with Class C IPs when you have domains that you own or control and want to link to other domains like your money site. If you are just getting links from different sites that are not your own then there is no reason to worry about Class C Ips.
