Default Adsense not showing on certain pages.

I've got a site of about 15 pages and it's starting to generate some serious money. So I've turned to it and am really picking over the on-page details. In this process I came across something I remembered from months ago...

I have three pages that Adsense refuses to show up on. I have the Quick Adsense plug-in on there, and it's formatting the blocks as if the ads are there, but they aren't showing. Just blank spots.

So I switched to the WhyDoWork Adsense plug-in. Same exact issue only on those pages. So it's not the plug-ins.

These pages are just like the others. They have 500+ words very targeted on the same topic as the rest.

Anyone have any ideas as to what the issue is? I thought about adding those tags to the HTML that focus adsense only on certain parts of the text, but it's just not necessary. It's fully on topic.

Anyone encountered this? It's pissing me off.

Thats strange,

I seen this happen on my sites when they had content that google deemed was inapropriate for families and therefore showed no ads on those pages.

It was a premature ejaculation article on my article network site.

Login to your adsense account, create ad blocks, copy the
code exactly, and paste it into your pages.

Google is getting away from allowing users to just plug
in an id publisher number.

Thank you for your reply. My content is very family safe and I'm generating money as it is with adsense on this site.

Thanks for this. This is not my case. This is one of those plug-ins where I did create separate ad blocks and put the code into the plug-in. It works on the other pages, should work on this one as it is all the same.

It happened to be once... what I did was creating a new adsense content ad and replace it and it works. =)

Tried this, did nothing. I searched google and found a thread on the Adsense forums where this guy said if he ads a "modifier" such as ?x at the end of his url it loads the page identically but this time the ads show. Someone suggested this could be that those single pages were banned for inappropriate content, but I assure you this is not the case.

Does this give any ideas? I am leaving contacting Adsense help as the last resort.

It could be Microsoft Explorer - try and see if your ads appear in Firefox. If yes, then it might be ME - they appear sometimes, but not always. It amy also have to do with settings on a person's PC. I wouldn't worry about it though - not much you can do that I am aware of.

Explorere doesn't show them.
Safari doesn't show them as well.

Go to the page that won't show the Adsense Ad, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard & click the refresh on your browser, see If that will clear the local cache & show the Ads.

No luck

Happens from all IP's on all browsers. I've tried home, phone, work, etc.

I had a problem with one site a month or so ago doing the same thing. For me it was the HTML software I was using that had a bug that caused something in the robot.txt file to tell google not to crawl certain pages and so no ads were showing up. It happened to a lot of people using this software.

Check your webmaster tools and make sure there are no crawler errors.

I'm beginning to wonder if it's not a case of stop-words existing on these pages. I'm going to look into it and see what's what. I have three pages that aren't showing ads.

So everyone will know, here is how this resolved:

I was hesitant to contact Google as previous attempts have returned automated responses months later. Well, they got back to me within a couple hours. They said, and I paraphrase...

"You were right. Our bot crawled your page and categorized it as negative. We manually reviewed and manually fixed it for you. The ads should be served on those pages now."

And they are! Woohoo! What a surprise. So yes, it was stop words, and yes, the bot did it without human involvement.

That reply makes absolutely no sense. And your bit
on stop words makes even less sense.

But, you say it's resolved, so what the heck.

Yes, their bots do everything without human involvement.

I don't get it?

What stop words did you use?

I've never had anything like that happen in 5 years of running Adsense.

I told them I checked out everything and found no reason for ads not to be showing, so I assumed their bot filtered my page due to certain words that could be MISCONSTRUED as not family friendly. They agreed and fixed it. Kind of like if the bot read "kicked his nuts across the table" that could be literal food or testes. The bot decided it was inappropriate when it wasn't. They manually took my URL out of the ban list.

Check above! I'm not saying exactly what it was that I typed. It wasn't sexual as the example above, but it was related to drugs, in a positive way. The bot couldn't tell the difference.

I had the same issue with my blog. I tried all the solutions that you have suggested but I think this is an error with Quick Adsense. I dont know if it is a theme compatibility issue or so.

Anyways, I found another solution. I was able to post an ads inside my post or page. Just go to the Appearance -> Editor, then look for single.php and page.php, paste the code of your ads before the_content() and it should work.

Just make sure you have a <div> and you make float it right or left (whichever your preference to display the ad), you can check my blog, it's about cooking training.. just visit cooking training center dot com, please also feature my blog to yours if this resolves..
