Yes is a myth. I rank on first page with 3 sites and all have duplicate content. It's all about ON&OFF PAGE SEO

Sorry, I worded it wrong. Being penalized for having duplicate content is a myth. My website is a perfect example. Registered 11 years ago, has thousands of pages of duplicate content because it's a e-commerce website and has problems with dynamic content. I rank in the top three for my main keywords, do mostly black hat SEO, and never been penalized.

Try look up with Google Trends.

It is not a popular keyword at all, google won't even bother much.

I feel amazed but there's a adsense script running behind the website, I don't know what it is purpose. This is something more amaze me.
