I would like to find out something regarding the SEO processor. I was "adding" keywords and the keyword density score was around 1.84 and then as I was adding some more, this figure started to decrease slightly. Does this mean that there are possibly too many of some keywords in the post hence the score decreasing? I just want to understand the way this processor is designed to work ![]() Many thanks if you can help. |

The score is decreasing because when adding more words to your content, the density for your primary keyword gets lower. So whatever words you add other than your primary keyword, the density will decrease.

Wow...and thanks alot, that makes complete sense and I just didn't think of that. I was adding LSI's that have words that are also in the primary keyword and I just thought that I may have been over-doing something! It also mentions that I need an "image with alt tag set to Keyword". Not sure how to go about this. I have image on review page that was already put in by the developer and then I entered this URL where it said "add image" as per their video and it just added this same image again. Is there any way I can add this to my existing image rather than adding another new one ![]() Thanks if you can help. |

To add an alt tag, goto the HTML of your page then look for the line of text which displays the image. Then just put alt="keyword here" after the src="http://url.com/uploads.image.png" part, as shown below. Quote:

Hi Cooler, Thank you so much for your help with this. I went into the HTML of page and looked for the line of text which displays the image and there is not the text in here It just literally starts with the 1st line of the review and the ends with the last line of text and links and I checked in between! In custom fields under the post I can see alt text and thumbnail etc and there is definately an image on my review post page at the top.If you have a further clue pls let me know as you have been really helpful. Thanks again |

It seems you're using custom fields to display the image. Next to the alt name, put your primary keyword in the Value text box then it should set that as the alt text for the image. SEOPressor probably won't detect this though because I think it only looks for alt text within the HTML code. | |

Thanks Cooler, glad we're getting to the bottom of this one - yep only one image and KW is already in "value box" as you mentioned. This is obviously what developer did. You mention SEOPressor probably won't detect this though because you think it only looks for alt text within the HTML code, will this loose any weight in the eyes of Google? Just trying to figure if I need to ask my developer to do anything differently or if really necessary to add another image. I just haven't acheived 100% score because of this!! Big thanks to you for all your help today, really appreciate it |
