hi guys, I have a website having thousands of pages in it but problem is they are dynamic as its an events website and it gets updated daily as we have each day a new event like saturday blast for saturdays, contagious behavior for sunday and so on,for every week we have different events. my question is :- I have 3 static pages home page, events page and portfolio page which are static and i have targeted about 3-4 keywords for these static pages and are ranking very good. Now i want to target some more keywords for internal pages and already optimized those pages for specific keywords and i am not supposed to make those url static as it automatically gets changed when day changes according to programming which was done at the time of development. I have done some bookmarking and blog commenting for those keywords but then too it is not ranking infact bookmarkings which i have done are ranking in serp. my url structure is like this : www.mysite.com/events?10hash?jpg7h4rd9dsfdfs== What changes can be done so as to rank well for those dynamic pages. |

Google has no trouble indexing dynamic urls if they want to. Emphasis on want to. Give them a reason. This applies to static urls as well, however. You can literally change them, but google actually tells webmasters not to. This blog post is a tad old, but today it means google is even better at dynamic urls. Thanks paul so i think there might be a problem which is not actually related to url structure.

Junne, you may want to consider doing some URL rewriting or masking at least. Those URLs are pretty ugly, and Google's not a fan of long urls. Also think about throwing some of that into a session state variable (7h4rd9dsfdfs== )
