Default What do you think is better?

Hello Guys,

I have a little bit confusion over here and would like some of your genuine advice on this:
Is it better to use IANA — Example domains OR blog.example.com for a blog? and Why?

Both of those are technically on the same subdomain according to the new google policy. I would suggest the subdomain blog.example.com. It looks better, makes more sense to people, and will get you better pointed traffic. People instantly understand from the domain link it's a blog. We use blog.example.com here.

I found that the same content under your own domain name ranks better

Wrong... Having a domain means you won't be generating linkjuice to probably your most viral content. Say you post this awesome blog, that 5,000 people link to and your domain is mynewblog.co*m, and not blog.mysite.co*m, all that link juice went to your blog's domain and not your site's. If you want to use your blog as a means of boosting your ranking, trust, and authority, it needs to be on the same domain.

?? lol

i am not sure i got what you mean.
i am trying to read through again and again to understand.
but for now it doesnt make sense to me.

generally your own domain is best.

for ranking if you use a subdomain it depends which web 2.0 service you use. cos some of them share link juice with their subdomains.
some dont.

but for the long run and for your branding, get your own domain.

Google Announces Reclassification Of Backlinks | SEO.com

Putting your blog on a completely separate domain will generate a backlink from your blog to your site (external link), but it won't pass linkjuice from other people linking to your blog to your site's domain.

So essentially, your blog could have a domain rank of 5, and your site a domain rank of 2. When if you had set your blog up as blog.yoursite.co*m, it would pass all the link juice from the subdomain onto the domain making your domain a domain rank of 5. Google no longer treats subdomains as external links, they are now internal. So get as much linkjuice as you can onto your domain by making subdomains linkbait-heavy.

After Google updates, It seems that its better to have your blog on a separate domain rather than the two choices I mentioned above of having it on the same domain. Cause its ultimately the backlinks that brings in the real juice.

Exactly i think going on with (blogexample.com) sort of domain will serve your purpose as it will be a blog as well as an external backlink provider.
