Market Samurai User Experince Sharing

Anyone here use Market Samurai? How your experience with it? It is good? Any alternative? Please share with me before I buy it.

i Downloaded trial version in July, I think it expires in 12 or 15 days, I did not buy it by that time

A month later I wanted to buy it and they would not allow me to buy it for 97 they kept asking me to pay 147 or something, (the non discounted price)

I refused, and actually waited about another month to try to buy it since I was busy with a lot of things

I logged into the site with a different email addy etc and somehow it let me pay the 97 so I was happy.

I have had a few glitches with stuff not working but that was one day or so then it was fixed

People complain that its slow, and it is, however when its generating for kws, 800 kws plus all the CPC money information, and 10 other columns of info it spits out that takes time

The SEO analyze the competition feature for the top 10 in google is what I REALLy use it for,
To me kw research is fascinating I have always loved it, but this tool makes it 1000 times more valuable IMO

dont let anyone tell you , that you can get the same thing for free with SEO quake etc, that is not true, not even close
I have access to all the free tools, so why would i buy MS and shell out 100 bucks if I did not feel its worth it?

to me its worth 10 times that , the return I will get from this information

What I like is the TIME I save

TIME is MONEY

Despite MS being called ...slow
Compared to doing it yourself for "free"

MS is still 100 times faster

It's pretty good, maybe one of the best keyword tools around, but still not "flawless"..but which tool is?

I cant think of another paid tool that compares
certainly Traffic Travis (same price) is worthless, it wont pull up backlinks for WEEKs at a time, they use Yahoo Site explorer for backlinks (no wonder, they are discontinuing their service)

I used it . It gives great results but as per it's price it is not so effective.

Market samurai is very good software........if used properly........otherwise it is useless until you know that how to use it.....!

Slow, buggy and bloated with information you don't even need to begin with.

I've been using Market Samurai mainly for tracking my sites rankings in the serps but after the last update they sent out information from different projects got jumbled together and kind of messed things up so I'm a little pissed off about that. Over all it is a pretty good tool though.

I watched about 30 tuts on youtube before I really got good at it

Ok. This is just my experience.

I downloaded the trial version about 12 days ago. At the time, it kept freezing/crashing on me. This eventually got fixed, but afterward, the keyword generator would not work properly. Well, it never worked actually. Before it would crash. Now it doesn't populate a list. Every once in a while (lets say 1 in 25 tries), I would get a list. However, when I click Keyword Analysis, that populated list disappears again so I can't analyze the data at all.

Edit: As of this very moment, the keyword analysis is working. Great stuff, but I only have 2 days of the trial version to end. I guess if it leaves a great impression during these final 48 hours, I might buy it.

After the update they were still jumbled and all of the data history for the rankings seems to be lost. It looks as if I have to set up the tracking for those sites again. I'm tracking a couple hundred pages so it's going to be quite a task.

I bought it in July. I have been mainly using its competition tool in my keyword decision process. For me its changed my business for the better.

I was a micro niche finder user but not anymore. Deleted it. I have gone back and checked my competition on some of my older sites and should have never bought many of them.

Wish i bought it 2 years ago.
