Hello everyone I've recently set up a new campaign for a client targeting around 50 keywords with a daily budget of £35. It has been running since the 1st September but for the last week the campaign has not been hitting the daily budget - not even close - but is saying that the campaign has been limited by budget. Google is recommending a budget of £125 per day but I don't understand why it is not showing my ads even though the budget has not been hit. For the last week it has only spent around £5 each day. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have tried upping the daily budget to £80, removing keywords, setting the bidding to be shown evenly over time. I have also tried calling my 'client liaison manager' at Google but he never calls me back! Thanks |

It depends on whether people find your keyword interesting enough to click on, and whether there is a lot of people seeing the ad. For Googe Adwords, I would suggest targeting one search that is likely to have a good click through rate, one keyword per campaign, and you should find the thing that let's you limit the placement to only the first position of that search. Top of the Google search, good click through rate. Alternatively, I can get you clicks for about five cents each, so long as people are slightly interested in it.

well, generally there is a quality score when working with google. so how google knows whether your ad is of quality is by the CTR. the more people click on ur ads giving u high CTR the higher and better your quality score with google. having a higher quality score it means google will show your ads more for the cost of less. having bad quality score means google will not show ur ads as often as your competitors and also they make you pay more per click. that is their way of forcing advertisers to have a good quality ad. BTW, im just interested to know, you are giving ppc services as a 1 man show or with a company? =) |

I am running the AdWords campaign through an Agency. The QS for all keywords is all quite high - between 4 and 7 for most keywords which I have found is an average over my other campaigns. None of the keywords are getting any impressions either. When I search for any of the keywords, the ads seem to be shown, but Google AdWords is saying that I have met my daily budget each day when I haven't! It is meaning that the client isn't getting the hits that they wanted and while it's not too much of an issue because they are spending less, they want to be spending more! |
