$25,000 from AdSense???

I was just reading a thread on how this fellow is making $10,000 a month from AdSense. Sounded like a real hype thread without any proof (screenshots). So I thought i would share my success with the forum, just for fun.

Check it out, $25,000 in just today's earnings;


It took me about five minutes to put this screen shot together. It is total BS and I have not made $25,000 since I first signed up with AdSense. So don't pay a whole lot of attention when people are making these wild claims. Look for the ulterior motive. They probably got something they want to sell you.

On first glance my instincts told me that the dollar figure was photoshopped. I can`t recall what the real numbers look like, but something just looks off. Small-chunking at work.

Anyway, yeah point taken. People can easily photoshop their "proof" of income. Nothing beats trust and reputation built up over time.

A fake video is just as easy to make.

Or even better, use a plugin such as FireBug (in FireFox) or the Chrome/IE developer tool to directly edit the HTML, skipping the whole downloading part. Plus, no need to edit out any URLs lol

Yes, the dollar figure was Photoshopped. First I took the code from my AdSense account, opened it in Dreamweaver and changed the dollar amount. The page didn't look right when I opened it, so I copied took that part of the image and pasted it into the image of the real page, which shows $0, and moved it so they lined up fairly close. I didn't put a lot of effort into it as I was just trying to show people how easy it is, and not to believe everything they see. I made the number an even number to make it a little more obvious that it was a fake.

To those that didn't like what I did, I am sorry. All I was trying to do was show people how easy they are duped if they believe this crap that is posted

timpears: What are you trying to prove? That it's impossible? Indeed, there many people making as much $25,000 a month or more just with Adsense alone, and I know some of them. Just like with anything, stick at it for a few months, years, you will eventually make good bank.

As I said previously, I was trying to show people that you couldn't believe most of the screen shots that you see as they are easy to create bogus screen shots. I never said that it was not possible to make good money with AdSense. I had a site just a few months ago that was making more than $100 a day from AdSense. i decided to sell it though.

I don't think so. The message is very clear as quoted below but the subtext is the saddest part. "Don't believe screenshots, if you do you're a fool. Don't believe videos, if you do you're gullible. Don't believe income claims because everyone is out to get you" This is a line repeated constantly in here. If I believe all the negheads not one claim would be real, not one screenshot would be real and not even a video is apprently good enough now. I find this sad and sensationalist and this thread (as funny as it was originally intended to be) perpetuates that myth.

I'll believe in earning 500$ a day but with that $25000? no way,.. only if the site owner is one of the adsense big earners recorded. But I believed they won't post such income from adsense.

lol, why not? It's perfectly possible. Some insurance CPC rates are nearing $100 per click. Plastic surgery - the same, Lawyers? - same.

It may not be common but the internet is fairly big and it's certainly possible.

I tried those niches before, even if you optimize your websites for those keywords there's very little chance of you actually getting $100+ per click.

True, but we're not doing niche research here. I'm just showing that sometimes (even for open broad match) people will pay a lot for ads and clicks. If they pay that much for search ads I'd say their offer for a content ad would be similar. If I was an advertiser I'd pay as much to get onto a page of search as I would on a page of website dealing with my topic. Maybe more so.

But to keep on topic, I'm just saying, it's not so impossible to believe. I've seen some big numbers (not personally - mine are mild), all you need is a network of big popular sites all feeding good, solid, honest, targeted, everyone-is-happy revenue and anything is possible. Sure $25k per day or even in a day would be a spectacular success. Obvious photoshopping aside, I'm just saying...not impossible.
