On First Page Of Google And Just Set Up Site 2 Hours Ago

Wtf..lol i set up a wordpress theme with some plugins and content with my seo tweaks and purchased an exact domain and submitted one article so far to goarticles. This keyword is not to easy but not to hard to rank for so moderate id say. I searched for my keyword and im 4th on googles first page. I checked on several other computers as well and yep im 4th. How is that possible. i just set this site up 2 hours ago and its already indexed and rank. wot..thats crazy. i have another site with the same moderate difficulty to rank for and today is two weeks for the site and its dancing on the 5th and 6th page but this page. Crazy ****..anyone have this happen so quick before? Id like to hear about it.

I found a camcorder site once (you can imagine the SOC for that website) on page 1 as the very first listing when searching: camcorders for sale. It was last year. I started looking at it and realized it was a very poorly designed autoblog. Further research ... I saw the domain was registered just the day before! I was like "what the hell?!" I followed it throughout the day and it magically disappeared completely from any of the first 100 pages (or more). It was still indexed so for some odd reason, Google just through it out there on page 1. I contemplated for the longest time why that happened.. if it was some sort of "glitch" in the system that could be capitalized on. I was tempted to write the owner of that site and ask him if he had some crazy AdSense happening but never did. I just chalked it up to an extreme oddity. Who knows how Google decides these things....

no..only on my main comp. thats why i checked on 3 other computers and my smart phone. i just set the site up on this comp. and i thought about that so i checked on 3 others and its sitting there in 4th position. really crazy...

Strange indeed. I'd let it sit around for a while to see what happens. It may or may not stick.

yea ima see whats up. im just gonna build backlinks natural and not in a hurry. keep adding content and see what happens. none of the other sites are domains there deep linking urls to a domain like nextag and amazon and so on..i guess it has to do with the exact match domain i dunno..crazy though. im gonna watch it though.

don`t be so happy. Basically sometimes some new sites jump very high in serps but then will drop on their correct position ;-)

yea well there no need to he sad either. if that happens ill just build backlinks and reclaim my position cause thats what i do

What's strange about it? It's easy to put something on the web,
then have it rank immediately for certain terms.

I don't know why people keep crowing about this parlor trick.

lol me either man. im ranked in 4th position though. i dont know how but i am and theres competition. theres ads all down the side of google and at the top for my product. somehow i sitting up there. i just searched for my keyword to check out some more of the pages i was up against and i was chilling there and was like whoa..i have never had a site indexed within 2 hours usually the next day but i have never had a site on the first page of google either. i have been designing websites for 10 years but i never heared about seo until about a month or two ago and to tell you the truth its easy. i dunno..i pick up fast on anything i try in life. its just natural for me to succeed at anything i do and its also natural for people to hate on me for that as well lol
