Hi Everyone, I desperately need some help. My site just went from page 9 down to 18 on Google within 2 days. I have been trying to for 2 months and it rose from 16 to 9 in two months. but in the last 2 day all that's gone and its now on page 18. The only new thing i did was install digi article blaster and used that for some article submissions and then the sudden drop. it may well be a coincidence but the first thing that came to my mind was is this the Google sandbox I've heard so much about? Has anyone else had similar experience and can you please explain to me what is going wrong. Kindest regards, Chuks |

There's a better chance of it being from a Panda filtering pass that they seem to unleash every 4 or 5 weeks. Or part of a reshuffling 'dance'. If it were the sandbox (if there is such a place) it probably would be off the map. Have you checked position for more than one keyword? |

no need to worry. try to limit any blasts in the beginning. especially on a new site.

No offense OP, but going from Page 9 to page 18 is like saying you went from not existing to not existing. Just keep adding content and links, and try to drive traffic from someplace else besides Google |

If the domain is older than 6 months, then the likelihood of it being sandboxed is almost zero. I've just had a site go from position 7 (page 1) to 42 in a little under 48 hours. It will be back - just the Google dance. If you HAD managed to get it sandboxed, it most likely wouldn't show anywhere on the SERPS. Much of what you have probably heard about the sandbox is urban myth. Be careful with brand new sites, but once past 6 months old, you can more or less do what you want - providing it's not black hat of course! |

Sandbox means you do not show up at al. Zip, nadda, zilch. No results except for when you search your domain and then only one, the domain itself. SEO is a ton easier now. Solid content + Solid internal linking structure + Solid backlinks = results. Get all three right and you go from roller coaster to a train ride across the plains. |

It better to submit manually while use submit or blaster system will cause you get banned or move to Google Sandbox. Submit it manually or limit down the numbers of blasting. So it won't get caught again by Google. |

Thanks every one for our helpful comments. My site has gone further from 18 to 21. I'm new to IM and this is very disheartening. I have good content but for the site to go from 9 to 21 in under 4 days can make one very sad.

| I understand but page 9 was a very good performance for me and the best I ever achieved. so it may seem poor to you but to me that was proof that my efforts were working.

Send some high authority links to your site and it should reduce the dancing effects, I speak from experience.

Sounds like you got penalized like one of my sites. I suggest you keep adding fresh 100% unique content and high quality high PR backlinks consistently to get it back out and get higher in the SERPS
