Torrent is a good way for link building

I found uploading file in high PR torrent site with description along with link back to your site is a good way of link building and good part of SEO.

torrentz

please add more torrent site name and your feedback on the same so that warrior member will be benefited. Cheers!

I don't think so. Not many torrent sites alow hyperlinks in the torrent description. Plus, warez/porn links are never good.

I haven't heard about this new method.If you add link in torrent file then Google penalty on your website.

As per Google webmasters guidelines, Google doesnot penalize for inbound links as no one has any control over there Inbound links..
As far as torrents is concerned, its better to Give a free PDF or report or something with your embedded link, ask your subscribers to go and download the torrent and give good reviews..
Only then you can see people coming to ur website through torrents!!!

They can penalize for mass inbound links especially if its a new site. People have done a case study and shown evidence of mass link building causing a penalty or drop in SERPs.

Torrent sites usually have bad rating from google. Because they mostly provides malware, viruses, porn contents, and many content that is not loved by google.

Have you also tried putting the links on a txt along with the file that the leechers actually need? Did that worked too?

seems like google does not like torrent site, it gives negative marking for links..... do u think its logical ?? if its true then every body should post lot of link of there competition and enjoy great traffic and sales to his site

so in positive or negative way torrent site is good for us

+1, besides, duplicate contents and copyright issues also are problems that torrent sites facing.
